Many life coaches encourage us to let go of the past and future, to fully embrace the essence, beauty, and goodness of being in the HERE and NOW.

Yes, but… When you’re part of the fashion world, existing solely in the present moment is nearly impossible. Past, present, and future are deeply intertwined. In fashion, the past is almost always a source of inspiration, the present is a constant cycle of trending styles, scents, and allure, and the future is ever-present as you plan your next purchase – perhaps for your Spring-Summer 2025 wardrobe.

Every day, as I dress men, I catch myself thinking about what I can "borrow" from their HERE and NOW wardrobe. And this spring, my ultimate find is the ultra-relevant double-breasted suit!

The past?
Inspired by the business culture and economic climate of the 1980s in the U.S., where structured, double-breasted suits defined power dressing.

The present?

A fusion of Gen Z’s love for oversized silhouettes and a courier-delivered package containing a piece from Uniqlo : C – a collaboration with modern-classic British designer Clare Waight Keller. The star of the moment? A double-breasted suit for HER (AirSense Relaxed Tailored Jacket + AirSense Pleated Wide Trousers in 08 Dark Grey).

The future?
Oh, and happy calendar spring! But… we’re still waiting for real spring because, let’s be honest, this stylish duo is way too light for Lithuania’s current weather. This is why, in the photo for this post, I’m missing my dream double-breasted blazer!
