I’m late with my posts (constantly writing in my head), but no need to blush! Finally, here I am, rushing to jot down my August thoughts and observations on time.

The month was spicy (4 chilies out of 5!), just like the first chilies (still green for now, but they’ll turn orange in about six weeks) growing on my balcony – the fiery orANGE HABANERO. With a heat level between 100,000 and 350,000 Scoville units, you'd need just as many glasses of water to cool its fiery kick.

Clothing of the Month for Her?

My go-to for leisure: the Vintage Looney Tunes Stellar Dress (BlackMilk), which I mentioned in the post "Spring Look Creation: Crafting Your Personal Wardrobe with 5 Tangible Improvisations."

Clothing of the Month for Him?

The #PakoLorente baby pink suit!

Exhibition of the Month?

The Elektra exhibition by visual artist and film director Emilija Povilanskaite, held at the VU Observatory's Idea Space. The exhibition explores embodiment and the control of intangible matter, almost like trying to tame a lightning strike. In a way, it felt very sharp.

New Word of the Month?

Whatzit is when you think, "Uh, what's that?" I came across this word while reading Leil Lowndes' How to Talk to Anyone, and it instantly reminded me of the “feel-good” trend. A Whatzit is anything unusual that you wear or carry – a unique pin, quirky purse, strange bow tie, or amusing hat.

Book of the Month?

Unexpectedly discovered in a bookstore, but still waiting to be read – When the Body Says NO by Gabor Maté. I’ve followed this psychiatrist since my time in Asia, and his thoughts are both unique and deeply restorative.

Most Delicious Food of the Month?

Porcini mushrooms found by my dad in the Lithuanian forest, sautéed with chilies! I could eat it every day.

Gift of the Month?

To celebrate 35 years of marriage, a framed photo titled “WE” that I took at Saint Lake, along with a glass jar filled with five floating lilies.

Entertainment of the Month?

Sailing on a yacht with Captain Levas, listening to the mysterious legends of the lakes around Trakai.

Challenge of the Month?

Letting go of all doubts and banishing the word "Maybe" from my vocabulary!

And here's a final reminder: what do you focus on? GROWS!
