Softly and comfortably nestled among the pillows in my bedroom, I’ve embraced writing. My first glance fell on Bernhard Roetzel’s book GENTLEMEN lying on the table beside my bed. This topic is one I am completely immersed in; I live and breathe it. I style, curate wardrobes, and it serves as my greatest source of motivation right now.

✨ An interesting fact from the book?

Tie collectors hold Hermès ties in the highest regard, often searching for them in airports, where limited edition collections are most likely to be found.

✨ An interesting tidbit from a stylist's daily life?

Did you know that when dressing identical twins who wear identical outfits, it’s enough to fit just one of them? This saves time, as one twin can circle around approving (or disapproving) the new purchase without even glancing in the mirror.

Returning to books: I’ve always loved sleeping among, beside, or near books. (How delightful that my bookshelf now includes books on men’s fashion!) I’ve even shared my personal top 10 list of books worthy of a kiss.

The past two months flew by at lightning speed, much like all of 2024.

Once again, I ran out of time for my great passion – writing. December was so intense with work, parties, family, gift hunting, and so on that I finally found time only today, on Epiphany, marking the end of this holiday marathon. Now, I’m eagerly looking forward to the Lunar New Year, which will be celebrated with boisterous lion dances across Asia, starting January 29th. It will usher in the Year of the Green Wooden Snake, symbolizing growth, stability, wisdom, transformation, and creativity.

CHAMPAGNE!

My 12-month project and wordplay experiment (where I find my name in words) has come to an end. You’ll be able to see the video visualization on my Instagram profile. For the culmination of the year, I chose two words – LEARNING and CHAMPAGNE – perfectly embodying the importance of both growth and celebration.

✨ A sentence to close out the year?

“Don’t look back; you’re not heading that way.”

✨ Philosophy to welcome and guide the New Year?

Equanimity.

✨ The most stylish December purchases?

Dark blue jeans by Ramunė Piekautaitė that I simply can’t take off. Reda Couture jogger-style pants – a perfect blend of comfort and style! Limited-edition tops from Uniqlo’s collaboration with Comptoir Des Cotonniers, which wonderfully enhanced my work wardrobe. And, crowning it all, a wool blazer from the Asian brand Broadcast.

✨ Fashion binge?

Queer Eye, Season 9 (Netflix) – I devoured it in no time.

✨ A heartwarming, world-bettering gift?

Undoubtedly, one from Singing Friend.

To conclude, I’d like to express my gratitude for all the amazing people who come into my life, especially those who make this world better, more beautiful, and more stylish.
